About Darjeeling: It is the famous tourist hill resort situated at an altitude of 2150m (6,800 ft). The average temperature during summers is around 20c and 10c during winters. There is heavy monsoon between June to August .It is famous for its natural beauty, mountains, tea gardens and breadth taking views. It is known as the Queen of the Hills also. About Mirik: Mirik is an idyllic hill station located at an altitude of 1767 m, nestled in the serene hills of Darjeeling. It is 49 kms from Darjeeling. One of the newest hill stations in India, Mirik is blessed with pleasant climate. Beautiful landscaped gardens, tea estates, orange and cardamom plantations, boating facilities, easy accessibility etc.


About Kalimpong: It is a small hill station between Siliguri and Gangtok. The swift flowing Teesta River runs by the side of the road adding to the beauty of the scenery. The name, Kalimpong, has three different origins. Kalimpong has several monasteries and also a Kali temple. The Tibetan Monastery and curio center and Dr Graham's home are important tour stops.
About Lava: It isnot a sightseeing destination rather a natural destination situated at an altitude of 7200 feet, and around 32 km east of Kalimpong. It is famous for its proximity to the Neora Valley National Park and beautiful view of the Jelep La and Rechi La passes. There are two sunset points named Ghanti Dara and Tiffin Dara (Dara means top of the hill) apart from Lava Monastery. There is Chhangey Falls situated at a distance of 12 kilometers worth a visit.
About Lolegaon- The small town is located at a distance of 12 km from Lava at an altitude of 5,500 ft. A spectacular view of the Himalayan snow will take you to a different world. Loleygaon offers panoramic view of the Kanchenjunga. This is quiet, cool and serene destination yet to be commercialized. There is nearby hilltop Jhandi Dara offers a beautiful view at sunrise.
